The Nebraska volleyball program host “Volleyball Day”, packing 92,003 fans into Memorial Stadium.
This is a record for a women’s sporting event in the world, breaking previous record 91,648 set at a Champions League soccer match.
Nebraska played another in-state team Omaha, with Nebraska-Kearney and Wayne State playing before as another Nebraska match up.
This event is historic for NCAA Volleyball and encourages more programs to boost attendance rates.
