The ACC conference released their 2023 end of season awards. Players and coaches were selected by other coaches to receive these honors.
Anna Debeer of Louisville and Audrey Koenig of Florida State were named co-players of the year. Koenig led her team to a conference championship while Debeer helped her team claim a No. 5 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.
Rachel Fairbanks of Pittsburgh won setter of the year and her teammate Olivia Babcock won freshman of the year. This duo will head to the tournament as conference champions and a No. 4 overall seed.
Elena Scott of Louisville won defensive player of the year for the first time in her career.
Lastly, Chris Poole won coach of the year for the Florida State Seminoles, leading his team to a conference championships after a preseason poll picked fourth.
