There are 32 automatic bids to the NCAA tournament, representing the champions from each conference going to the tournament. Some conferences decide their champions through a tournament and others by overall record.
The Big Ten champions from this year and No. 1 overall seed entering the tournament is the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska only dropped one game the entire conference schedule and won the Big Ten outright for the first time in four years.
Heading over to the Pac 12, Stanford won their second straight conference championship with only one loss on their record. They will head to the tournament at the No. 2 overall seed.
The Kentucky Wildcats won their seventh straight SEC championship are the automatic qualifiers for their conference. The also finished with just one conference loss.
The Big 12 conference champions are the Texas Longhorns for the seventh straight year. They head into the tournament as the No. 7 overall seed.
The ACC had co-champions between Florida State and Pittsburgh but the Seminoles received the automatic qualification with their defeat of the Panthers. Pittsburgh will head to the tournament as a one seed and Florida State will enter as a six seed.
